31_days prompt: 6 September 2005. An Ace Wo Nerae/Harry Potter fusion. I was thinking about doing this for other fandoms: using the magical universe ;D

Hogwarts: A Life

"Just come and see a practice match," the teacher says encouragingly to her, smiling and holding a guiding hand just far enough away not to be making any actual bodily contact.
She steps onto the spectator platform and her eyebrows crease together as she focuses on too many flying objects at once; there are at least ten people on their broomsticks whizzing about the pitch, as well as more than one ball active in the game. Her eyes, used to focusing on just one object at a time, and the only object that matters, grow fuzzy, and she looks away before long.
Not before noticing Hiromi, laughing wildly from the back of a broomstick, suddenly clutching her hands tight to the handle and swooping in to capture a very small ball and win the entire game. Even during extreme concentration her smile doesn't falter for a minute. She has always been able to pick up anything she wished to try her hand to.
"Well?" she is asked, all of a sudden, her thoughts interrupted. "What do you think?"
"It's not quite tennis, is it." Reika replies primly, turning away.
