Still the Blood in Your Veins [POT, vampire!au: Yagyuu/Niou]

iv. still the blood in your veins

Warm fingers smooth over the fabric of his shirt, blood beneath the skin hot enough to burn. Yagyuu bares his teeth but he can't feel the sensation enough to care. It's the fingers moving closer to his crotch, and the way Niou always manages to open the door to him with a new accidental scratch on his arm, a bitten lip.
He wraps his fingers around Niou's wrist, squeezing so hard Niou doesn't just stop, but gasps out loud. He meets Yagyuu's eyes, and instead of accepting the warning to stop, he just changes to his other hand while Yagyuu's still got hold of the first one.
Yagyuu has two hands too, but he pretends he doesn't remember that.
Niou always takes off his own clothes with amazing enthusiasm, knowing the bared skin is even more temptation. He's taken to tying back the longer strands of his hair, tilts his head to the side and swallows to get the veins in his neck to pulse. Slips his tongue into Yagyuu's mouth and tries to cut it on Yagyuu's fangs.
"Do it," he breathes, throwing his head back and tightening his fists. "Just do it already."
Yagyuu has learnt to tune out the words by now; every time he demands it. To be changed, turned. He doesn't know what he's asking for, Yagyuu always tells him that.
"I want to be like you," Niou says, "the same as you. Just the same."
Sometimes he goes too far, and Yagyuu has to walk away before he gives in. But walking away isn't working, not when he always comes back again eventually. There has to be a better way.
"Please," Niou says, Niou who never begs for anything, with his legs wrapped around Yagyuu's waist trying to pull him closer, deeper. Pulling Yagyuu's hands onto his chest, trying to get him to drag his nails and draw blood. Yagyuu snaps, but not in the way Niou wants.
He presses a hand to Niou's chest, right above his heart. It's so easy, just to slip inside his consciousness; he wants so much what he says, or least he thinks he wants it. He's open and eager, baring his soul. Yagyuu lets his mind inside Niou's body and tries to show him without taking too much knowledge inside himself. It will make him care even more than he does already. Dangerous.
"Fuck," Niou says, letting out a breath longer than time. "I felt what it was like to be you."
"Now you see," Yagyuu says, drawing his hand back and pulling away. "Now, stop asking."
"No way," Niou says. He lans up and slides closer again, like silk over cold skin. "Do it." He brings his mouth to Yagyuu's ear and lowers his voice. "Do it."
"No," Yagyuu says, pushing Niou back to the mattress which enough force that he himself stumbles back and almost falls on the floor. "I can barely put up with you now, I can't imagine having to for all eternity."

But I want more now. I want to know how they met and I want to know if Yagyuu eventually caves. I think he does. I want to see them deal with the aftermath

I also have this odd suspicion that after the initial period of angsting etc. Yagyuu would find unlife a lot better with Niou there to keep him company...
...and that Niou has a clearer idea of what he's asking for than Yagyuu thinks he does, and that he really, truly does want it. I'm not sure what makes him want it so much, though, aside from Yagyuu. There's something.

Hm, you're asking ME? I can only really think that it'd have to be something material, though I think it a little cliche to be attempting to retrieve some precious item or something. Or I'm just blurring the lines between vamp!au and cop!au in my head what with pursuit and stuff ;)

Oh, hm, let me phrase it another way: why would Yagyuu want to become a vampire? (Because they both have to end up as vampires; I do not think there is another way to play this.)
