2gether/Close To You [Mendol: Nami/Asahi/Hinata]
Two Mendol shorts, using some
31_days prompts:
-
2 December 2006. 2gether/(Even though I didn’t know we’d come to be, it is like fate that we met) [Mendol: Nami/Asahi/Hinata, 287 words]. Kink is suggested ;D
-
Nami runs down the spiral stairs with nothing but a long, white sheet wrapped around her and a pair of mismatched (but both striped) socks on her feet. She tip-toes around, checking for anyone else in every room before heading to the closet.
Both the L's are out, together, of course. But it looks like they might have left the closet key behind; as if they would ever suspect that Asahi, Nami or Hinata would want to go into it. Nami closes her eyes as she reaches inside the ornamental stuffed cat and fumbles around for the key.
Inside the closet it is a treasure-trove, and Nami bites her lip as she looks around it properly for the first time; she'd heard rumours, but only Hinata had actually had the chance to get a good look inside, and she tends to exaggerate when she's excited. Nami has seen for herself a good number of the items (mostly being worn or even being used if she doesn't avert her eyes quickly enough, because the L's have no shame at all), but never so many in such a small space before.
"Nami!" Asahi yells from upstairs, and it sounds urgent. "Do they have... rope?"
"Handcuffs?!" Hinata chimes in eagerly.
"I'm coming!" Nami yells back, swiping the rope as well as a pair of purple fur-clad handcuffs. And after a moment of hesitation, a blindfold too.
Hinata smiles sweetly the entire time that Nami and Asahi are tying her to her chair, and when Asahi takes the handcuffs from her and moves confidently to attach them, Nami realises that if it weren't for the L's, they never would've known they could have so much fun doing things like this.

5 December 2006. Close to You/(The radio plays that song you like) [Mendol: Nami/Asahi/Hinata, 317 words]. SET DURING EPISODE 9, POSSIBLE SPOILERS.
--
Back in their room, at home, Asahi finally feels safe. The L's are scary, true, but that's what will protect her, and Nami, and Hinata. If the L's scare them, then they'll surely scare away anyone who would come looking for them. The whippings are a definite welcome home, she knows it even before Saeko says it out loud. They wake her up to reality as much as they tire Hinata out. Her eyes are shut almost before her head touches her pillow.
On either side of her, Asahi and Nami look over at one another. Asahi looks back down at Hinata and the bruise on her cheek that is showing now the cover-up is off.
"Hinata told those men that she wouldn't say anything, because she was an angel, and angels couldn't make people unhappy. She was protecting us at the risk of herself."
"...She remembered that from that day. Back when she was going to jump. And we stopped her."
Asahi nods.
"She saved us, after we saved her."
"Maybe she won't feel like she owes us anything anymore now," Nami says, laying on her back. "We're even."
"I'm glad we could save her from them though, even so," Asahi says, but she thinks Hinata probably won't worry that they are uneven again because of that. She and Nami are the reason Hinata was in danger at all; she wasn't even there when they found the phone-charm.
Nami doesn't say anything back, but after a long silence she sighs all of a sudden, and sits up.
"Goodnight, angel," she says, leaning down to kiss Hinata's bruised cheek. She looks up and narrows her eyes at Asahi. "I'll know if you even breathe one word about this to her."
Asahi nods, wide-eyed and open-mouthed. She's still like that when Nami turns on her side and pulls the covers up over her head.
Hinata smiles in her sleep.

I think I love you.
The first one was a lot of fun, much in the way Mendol itself is. The second is adorable.

(And it's some of the crackiest crack that ever cracked! Don't you love girls who dress in drag and yet still look exactly like girls but manage to fool *everyone*?
Oh, and SING LIKE GIRLS? lol)

I'm not sure that's something to be grateful for. *g*
And yes, it is some of the crackiest crack I've ever seen. If I didn't love crossdressing girls, I'd probably tear my hair out over how ridiculous the whole premise is. As many pretty boys as the Japanese entertainment industry has produced, most of them still look like *boys.*
The girls from Mendol most definitely do *not.*
Are you going to post these to
no subject
The best thing about 'pretty' boys is the fact that they are still obviously boys; androgyny is hot ;D ...And although she looks nothing like a boy, I sometimes think the careless way Nami treats Ray (and what is that about, her having a boy's name? lol) can be very boyish, and I like that a lot :x
I never even thought about posting them to
